“This is one of only 2 par fives on the course. A new back tee has been added to increase the length of the hole to 554 yards whilst also bringing the fairway cut area back nearer to the tee. The angle of the new tee also creates a more demanding tee shot playing more to the right and bringing the copse more into play. This par 5 has gorse both sides of the fairway, when in blossom it is a beautiful sight but with it's sharp thorns, it is something to be avoided. The hole has only two bunkers to protect it. The gorse and trees right and left of this fairway, however, will test the straight hitting of any player.”
