Professional's Tip

“A new back tee has been added on top of the reservoir embankment, making probably the most memorable tee shot on the course. In 1947 James Braid positioned Braids bunker to the right side of this heavily bunkered hole. The bunker still today gathers many a tee shot. The well bunkered green also slopes dramatically from left to right with many a short putt missed. Think twice before you concede that 18 inch downhill putt as if missed it could be 6 feet past.”
